You already have the parking. We install and run the charger at our cost, and pay you a share of every charge in that bay, every month. Drivers stay longer while their car charges, and they spend while they wait.

Three ways to host a charger
The difference is who owns the charger. The more you own, the bigger your share. Every percentage is agreed with you per site.

Host a Veld charger
No cost to you. We install and own the charger; you earn a share of every charge.

Rent to own
We install the charger and split the profit with you. Your profit pays off the charger until it is yours.

Own your charger
Buy a charger from us or bring your own. We run it, bill drivers and pay you most of the income.

How the money works
Drivers pay the agreed price per kWh. We take off the electricity the charger used, at a fixed rate we agree with you, and that money goes back to you. What is left is the profit, which we split at your agreed percentage.
Some sites prefer the percentage worked out on the whole amount drivers pay instead. Then whoever owns the charger pays the electricity from their part. Either way, your monthly statement shows every session.

We transfer R10 243 a month: your profit plus R8 525 to cover the electricity bill. An estimate; your statement shows the real figures.
When does it pay off?
Buying or renting to own a charger is an investment. With the charging numbers above, here is when each option starts putting money in your pocket.

Money in hand: profit share less what was paid for the charger. Electricity refunds are left out because they only cover the electricity bill. Once a rent-to-own charger is paid off, the client owns it and moves to the owner's share.
We handle the running of it
Drivers pay us, not your front desk
Drivers pay from a prepaid Veld Charge wallet. Charging stops on its own when their money runs out, so there are no unpaid sessions to chase.
Your price, per site
We agree a price per kWh for your site. It can differ from our other locations, and it can change whenever you and we agree.
Electricity paid back to you
Each charge is measured in kWh. You get the electricity back at the rate we agree, so the charger never runs on your money.
A monthly statement you can check
Sign in to see every session at your chargers, the energy used, your share and what we will pay you this month.
Cards for your own vehicles
Give your staff or shuttle drivers RFID cards. Their charging goes on a monthly company invoice or a company wallet, and you see who charged what.
Works with most chargers
Veld Charge talks to chargers over OCPP, the open standard most modern chargers use. If you already have one, we can probably run it.
